Resumen
The present communication is about an innovated experience of public urban and housing policy: the first cooperative in disperses plots of Montevideo. From the Transdisciplinary Laboratory of Experimental Ethnography (Labtee) an its Program in Urban and Territorial Cultural Studies (PECUT), of the Universidad de la República, we have been carrying out collaborative research in this regard. In this case, we focus on analyzing the morphological and historical characteristics of the plots selected for its construction in the context of Ciudad Vieja (Old City) and its particular conditions, crossing information of the diverse sources from an integral ethnographic approach. Then, we propose the relationships of the members of the collective with these spatialities, based on their life histories around the dwelling, for which we distinguish different types of residence according to precedence and ways of mobility. We conclude with some notes about the ongoing process, its scope, and the importance of continuing to develop collaborative research.
El presente trabajo trata sobre una experiencia innovadora de política pública urbana y de vivienda: la primera cooperativa de lotes dispersos de Montevideo. Desde el Laboratorio Transdisciplinario de Etnografía Experimental (Labtee) y su Programa en Estudios Culturales Urbanos y Territoriales (PECUT), de la Universidad de la República, venimos desplegando una investigación colaborativa al respecto. En esta ocasión, nos centramos en analizar las características morfológicas e históricas de los predios seleccionados para su construcción en el contexto de la Ciudad Vieja y sus condiciones particulares, cruzando información de diversas fuentes desde un abordaje etnográfico integral. Luego, planteamos las relaciones de los integrantes del colectivo con dichas espacialidades, a partir de sus historias vida centradas en el habitar, para lo cual distinguimos diferentes tipos de residencia según procedencias y formas de movilidad. Concluimos con algunos apuntes sobre el proceso en marcha, sus alcances y la importancia de seguir desarrollando la investigación colaborativa.
